New Construction + Progress Inspection

When your new home approaches the end stages of construction, an inspection should be performed to alert you to any and all situations that need to be corrected. By doing so, you will have the contractors full attention since they are still in the building process. This can prevent the need for repairs after construction is complete and your belongings are already moved in.

A New Construction and Progress inspection is an on-site evaluation of a newly constructed home. Similar to pre-purchase or a seller’s home inspection, a new construction inspection will provide a list of defects to be corrected by the builder prior to occupancy or ownership.

Roofers at Work

When a new home is being constructed, it is important to ensure the quality of the construction and to adhere to a strict attention to detail. This assessment includes regular inspections during the course of the construction of the new home. Inspections set at predetermined phases of construction are the best way to ensure quality throughout the construction process.
